Police searching for stolen items from cabin in Burgeo

On Wednesday the RCMP received a report that an Arctic Cat ATV, solar panels and other items were stolen from a cabin along the Burgeo Highway.

The cabin was in the Peter Strides Pond area in Burgeo.

A vehicle on the property was also damaged. The theft and damage are believed to have occurred on Tuesday, June 27.

The ATV, a side-by-side 2010 Arctic Cat Prowler, is red and black in colour, with a Newfoundland and Labrador license plate, VDW 299. Two solar panels, valued approximately at $800.00, were also taken.

Bay St. George RCMP is asking the public for assistance in locating the stolen items.
