Police arrest impaired driver downtown

On Tuesday evening RNC responded to a report of an impaired driver in the downtown area.

Responding officers located and stopped a 45-year-old female. The female was transported to the RNC Headquarters where she failed the Intoxilyzer and was subsequently charged with impaired driving and exceeding 80 mg of alcohol in 100mg of blood.

The female was released for a future court date and her vehicle was seized.
