NL Reports 8 New COVID-19 Cases Over The Weekend

Over the weekend there were 8 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Newfoundland and Labrador.

On Saturday, there were four new cases. Three of the cases are located in Eastern Health and the fourth is in Central Health. Two were close contacts of a previous case, one is travel-related and one is under investigation. That case remains under investigation.

Then on Sunday, there were four more cases. Two are in Eastern Health and two are in Central Health. Three are travel-related and one is a contact of a previous case.

Newfoundland and Labrador has 30 active cases of COVID-19.

To date, 64,354 people have been tested.

There will be a televised briefing today.
