NL Enters Alert Level Two


After 27 days of no new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador, the province has entered Alert Level Two.


As of today, outdoor gatherings of 50 people are permitted with social distancing. Places of worship are permitted to reopen.


Gyms and fitness facilities are permitted to open, with restrictions. Arenas can open, with restrictions. Indoor pools can open, however some restrictions may apply. Further expansion of camping activities to be determined. Playground equipment can be used.


Some health care services will continue to resume.


Bars and lounges are permitted to open with reduced occupancy. Indoor entertainment facilities can reopen with reduced occupancy such as bingo halls and cinemas.


Newfoundland and Labrador will join the Atlantic Bubble on July 3rd.
