Mount Pearl launching composting programs

Mount Pearl is launching two composting streams.

As a pilot project, the city will select a limited number of residents to participate in the program from June to August of this year.

Residents selected will be provided with a composter, counter collection bin, a weight scale, a log sheet to track the amount of waste diverted, and reference resources from MMSB.

At the end of the program, participants who complete the program survey and submit their waste diversion data will be reimbursed their program fee.
