More demonstrations possible as harvesters say $2.20 per pound not enough

On Friday fish harvesters held demonstrations at the Association of Seafood Producers office and the Ocean Choice International office in St. John’s.

Harvesters continue to state that they won’t be fishing for $2.20 per pound.

The FFAW is continuing to call on the provincial government to mediate a fair resolution.

The FFAW says there is a desire among harvesters to take further political action around the province next week.
