Man taken into custody after incident in Mahers

On Wednesday evening the RCMP responded to an incident on Fox Marsh Road in Mahers.

One person was taken into custody as a result of the incident.

The incident was successfully resolved.

People were asked to remain away from the area while those in the area were asked to stay inside.

Police contained the possible threat to public safety.
