Man points firearm at police in St. John's

A 36-year-old man will appear before a judge after an incident in the west end of St. John's last night.

At about 5:30 p.m. the police to a disorderly conduct call. During the encounter, the man pointed a firearm at police.

As a result, he was charged with pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and other offences.
