Man arrested in Shearstown after pulling a knife on a youth

Last week the RCMP arrested a 29-year-old man after he allegedly pulled a knife on a youth in Shearstown.

Police say the man approached the child, who was walking home, pulled out a knife and pointed it at the child in a threatening manner. Other individuals witnessed the incident.

The child was not injured.

The man was released from custody on a number of conditions and is set to attend court at a later date.
