On Friday afternoon a 35-year-old man was arrested near Bannerman Park.
Officers were parked near the park when the male walked over to the police unit and began to throw glass bottles; breaking out the window while the officers were sitting inside.
The male was charged with property damage under $5,000 and breach of a probation order.
The accused was taken to court to appear before a judge. The two officers in the police vehicle were not injured.
