Man arrested following assault on taxi driver in Corner Brook

At 2:40 am this morning the RNC was called to a report of an assault in Corner Brook.

A taxi operator reported that they were assaulted by an adult male who was a passenger in a cab.

Officers located the accused 47 year old. He was charged with assault and will appear in court next month.

The victim did not require medical attention.
