Man arrested after refusing to exit home after causing property damage

A 40-year-old male has been arrested after RNC operational patrol services responded to a report of property damage in progress at a home in Torbay overnight.

A home was extensively damaged and the complainant witnessed the event.

Officers later located the male at his residence but he refused to exit the home. After several hours officers executed a feeney warrant on the residence and the male was arrested without incident.

The male was charged with mischief and will make a court appearance this morning.
