Man arrested after disturbance in downtown St. John's

On Monday afternoon the RNC was called to a report of a disturbance in downtown St. John's.

The disturbance was caused by a male and female.

As a result, a 49-year-old male was arrested and charged with one count of assault and one count of breaching a release order.

The accused was held to appear in court.
