Local resident quarterfinalist in Face of Horror contest
A person from this province is a quarterfinalist in an online contest on Facebook.
Jackie Hennessey has made it to the top one percent out of more than 100,000 competitors to become the very first "face of horror". She has also set up a Facebook group to keep people updated.
Hennessey says she is, "a huge fan of the weird and the very strange I have been since first viewing Freddy on the screen and he wasn't so nightmarish to me."
The winner of the contest will win $13,000 cash, a two night stay in Buffalo Bill's house, a two-page spread in Rue Morgue magazine and will go up against Jason and Kane Hodder and a walk-on role in an Indie horror film.
