Liberal campaign stop cancelled amid security threat

A Liberal campaign event was cancelled on Friday night after it was determined that there was too high a security threat for Justin Trudeau to attend.

Hundreds of protesters gathered at the planned outdoor rally in Bolton, Ontario.

Most of the demonstrators were anti-vaccination protesters who harassed campaign organizers.

The Conservative candidate in Dufferin–Caledon, Kyle Seeback said that some of the protesters were his campaign volunteers. He has since removed them from his campaign.

Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole condemned the behaviour.

In several campaign stops Trudeau has been met with anti-vaccination protesters.
