Jagmeet Singh in hot water after posting a photo on Instagram

Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has found himself in hot water after posting a photo on his Instagram.

Singh posted a photo of him with his daughter in a rocking chair. He tagged the company that donated the chair as a gift, Monte Design.

The company provided the chair, valued at $1,895, as a gift to Singh's wife Gurkiran Kaur Sidhu with the intention that she would post about it on her Instagram account which she did on December 10th.

Singh tagged the company in a similar post on Sunday.

The NDP is working with the ethics commissioner and Singh will pay for the chair.
