Greene report recommends "The Big Reset" #nlpoli

Moya Greene has released her report on the dire financial situation facing the province.

The report has recommended a huge change in how government operates. There must be big cuts to government and tax increases. It is known as "The Big Reset".

Government services are recommended to cost more and an increase of the provincial sales tax.

Cuts of 30 percent are recommended to MUN and CNA. Additionally, the report recommends the elimination of Nalcor Energy.

It was also recommended to sell the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation and Marble Mountain.

Health Authorities are also recommended to receive less funding.

The report was originally supposed to be released in February but it, along with the provincial election was delayed.

It is important to note that all of these recommendations need to be approved by the government.
