Government Providing Funding to U-Turn Drop in Centre

The provincial government has provided approximately $84,000 in funding to support mental health and addiction services offered through U-Turn Drop-In Centre.

The centre provides peer support for people with substance use disorder across the province. It offers in-person, telephone-based and online individual support, as well as in-person and online self-help support groups and education groups weekly.

The funding will allow U-Turn to continue to provide peer support opportunities for individuals attending in-patient addiction treatment at the Grace Centre and Humberwood and help make connections for their after-care.
