Government awards contract for Long-Term Care and Personal Care Home review

The provincial government has awarded a contract to identify improvements to long-term care homes and personal care homes in the province.

The review will include an analysis of leading and best practices that support resident-centered care.

The contract, valued at $397,500, has been awarded to MNP.

The review will identify opportunities and recommendations to improve the quality of care and quality of life of residents, as well as enhance staff engagement and improve working conditions for staff.

The final report and recommendations are anticipated in the spring of 2024.
