Go Fund Me account created for Outer Battery residents

A Go Fund Me account created a day ago has raised nearly $7,000 in support of residents living in the Outer Battery.

Jillian Keiley organized the fundraiser with the goal of raising $95,000. The funds will be used to finance consultancy, court costs and related expenses.

Residents in the area are protesting lights that were put up by a local property owner.

A petition has also been launched on Change.org to petition the City of St. John's to enact a Nuisance Lighting By-Law.
