Gas tax axed for another year

The gas tax that was reduced last year will be in effect for another year.

The seven cents per litre tax was removed temporarily last year to fight the rising cost of living.

The Provincial Government announced on Monday that the tax will be removed until March 31, 2024.

This maintains a lower price at the pump by 8.05 cents per litre.
