Funding announced for winter activities in Clarenville

The federal and provincial government is investing more than $562,000 in two projects in the Clarenville area to support winter activities.
Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology Andrew Parsons announced $93,750 for Alpine Development Alliance Corporation, operators of White Hills Resort, to assist with equipment upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
$110,666 was allocated for the Clarenville Nordic Ski Club for the purchase of new equipment for its trail network.
