Fines Further Increased to Help Curb Excessive Vehicle Noise

Effective immediately, fines will be further increased for the illegal modification of vehicle exhaust systems.

Fines will now range from $250 to $1,000.

These fines are on par with many jurisdictions across the country.

The amendments apply to all vehicles, including motorcycles, operating on any roadway in the province.
