Fines for Parking Violations are Increased in St. John's #nltraffic

As part of Budget 2021, the City of St. John's has increased fines for parking violations.

Effective immediately parking fine increases are as follows:

• A pay by phone/pay station parking ticket has increased from $30 to $50

• A parking ticket for violating the Snow Clearing By-Law (including the various winter parking bans) has increased from $55 to $75

• Street cleaning violations increased from $30 to $40

• All parking offences for which the fine was $50 has increased to $60

• All parking offences for which the fine was $60 has increased to $75
