Feedback being accepted for minimum wage review


The independent Minimum Wage Review Committee, which was appointed last month, is looking for input into the minimum wage review.


Stakeholders and members of the public are invited to provide recommendations. You can view the questionnaire for both employers and employees here. Feedback will be accepted until March 18.


As of April 1, the minimum wage in the province will increase by 45 cents to $13.20 per hour. British Columbia and the Northwest Territories currently have the highest minimum wage in Canada at $15.20 per hour while New Brunswick has the lowest minimum wage at $11.75 per hour.
