Employee injured in Come By Chance refinery fire dies

Braya Renewable Fuels has announced that an employee injured in the flash fire that occurred at the Come By Chance refinery on September 2 has died.
In a statement, the company said that at this time they will be providing no further comment as the matter remains under investigation.
The company will not be sharing the name of the employee but will provide counselling and support.
On September 2 there was an explosion at the Come By Chance Refinery. The explosion happened around 4:00 pm in the afternoon.
Eight individuals were transported to hospital, some with serious injuries as a result of the blast.
