There was a 4.7 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Labrador yesterday.
The earthquake was 516 km east-northeast of Nutak, NL.
Since it occurred offshore, it was not felt in the area and no damage would have occurred.
That area has experienced earthquakes in the past is and is one of the most active areas in Atlantic Canada.
There was no tsunami danger.
