Just after midnight on Tuesday an RCMP officer stopped a car travelling at a high rate of speed on Route 210 near Marystown.
Using radar, the officer clocked the driver going as 133 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, a 22-year-old Marystown man, was issued a driver’s licence suspension and was ticketed for excessive speed.
The car was seized and impounded.
