Dominion Workers Overwhelmingly Vote to Strike

UNIFOR Local 597, the union that represents Dominion workers in the province announced this afternoon that their members have overwhelmingly voted to strike.

After the votes were counted, 94 percent voted to strike.

The union has set a strike deadline of 12:01 am Friday, July 31, 2020.

Dominion Stores is the primary brand name of the major-market supermarkets of Loblaw Companies Limited in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
