CT Scans Unavailable at Carbonear General Hospital

Due to a water leak in the Medical Imaging Department of the Carbonear General Hospital, CT scans will be temporarily unavailable.

Inpatients and emergency department patients who are referred for CT scans will be temporarily transferred to St. John’s.

Arrangements are being made for outpatients to receive this medical imaging service at a healthcare facility in St. John’s or Clarenville.
