Corner Brook Pair Arrested After Stealing From Vehicles #nltraffic

The RNC in Corner Brook responded to a report that parked vehicles were being entered in a residential area and items were being stolen on Sunday morning.

officers located and arrested two suspects.

As a result of the investigation it was determined that one individual was bound by a court order with fairly strict conditions. Upon his arrest he was assaultive and resistive toward police. Due to this, a 21-year-old male resident of Corner Brook was charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, five breaches of his court order, a breach of Probation and possession of stolen property.

The accused was held in custody for a court appearance.

The other suspect involved, an 18-year-old female resident of Corner Brook was charged as well with possession of stolen property.

She was released with a future court date.
