Contract Awarded to Repair Labrador Bridges #nltraffic

A contract has been awarded to Complete Concrete Solutions Ltd to repair three bridges in Labrador.

The contract has been valued at $1.5 million.

The contract includes repairs of concrete joints and replace structural steel and floor joists on Goose River Bridge on Route 520, replace asphalt with new pavement leading to the Munik Pone (Pinus River) Memorial Bridge and complete bridge concrete repairs (Route 500), and replace the concrete surface and expansion joints on the Miron River Bridge (Route 500).

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure anticipates work to be completed during this highway construction season.

Motorists should anticipate some traffic delays at each location while work is ongoing.
