Changes to Emergency services at the Bonavista Peninsula Health Centre

Emergency services at the Bonavista Peninsula Health Centre will be different on Tuesday and Tuesday night.

Due to human resource challenges virtual emergency services will be in place from 8:00 am on Tuesday to 8:00 am on Wednesday.

During this time, the emergency department will be staffed by a nurse practitioner and a respiratory therapist, supported by a physician who will be available virtually.

Patients are advised to continue to proceed to the emergency department at the Bonavista Peninsula Health Centre where they will be assessed and transferred to another hospital, if necessary.
