Changes to ambulance service in Whitbourne

Eastern Health has released a public service announcement regarding a change in the ambulance service provider in the Whitbourne area.

The statement said that there "has been a change to the provision of ambulance services in the Whitbourne area."

The health authority says it is ensuring the continuation of emergency and routine ambulance service coverage to the region and there are no changes to service levels.

Sherry Gambin-Walsh the MHA for Placentia - St. Mary's said there are two ambulances operating from the Dr. William H. Newhook Community Health Centre operated by Eastern Health.
