Carbon Pricing takes effect on most fuels
It's a mix of increases and decreases in fuel prices this week.
The cost of gasoline is up by 6.6 cents per litre. Diesel on the Island will increase by up to 4.5 cents and diesel in western Labrador has increased by 4.7 cents.
Furnace oil has decreased by 0.33 cents per litre. Stove oil on the Island has decreased by 0.33 cents per litre and stove oil in western Labrador has increased by 0.03 cents per litre.
Propane heating fuel is down by 0.6 cents per litre.
The Public Utilities Board has set the Carbon Price Adjustment at 3.74 cents per litre for gasoline motor fuel and 4.17 cents per litre for diesel motor fuel for most pricing zones.
