Canadian Armed Forces air drop humanitarian aid in Gaza

Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand and Minister of National Defence David McGuinty announced that the Canadian Armed Forces delivered additional humanitarian assistance to Gaza to respond to the pressing humanitarian needs of Palestinians.
A CC-130J Hercules aircraft was dispatched to conduct an airdrop of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. The air drop consisted of 21,600 pounds of aid.
Canada is teaming up with international partners to provide access to humanitarian aid in Gaza.
Jordan has also facilitated the delivery of Canadian humanitarian assistance to Gaza.
