Announcement on measure of recruitment and retention of physicians

Premier Furey and Minister of Health and Community Services Tom Osborne will announce an additional measure to address the recruitment and retention of physicians today.

The announcement will be made this afternoon at the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University.

Also on hand for the announcement will be Dr. Sohaib Al-Asaaed, Post Graduate Medical Education Associate Dean, and Dr. Mikaela Murphy, a second-year family medicine resident.

The announcement takes place at 2:15 p.m.
