$9.8 million announced for mineral exploration projects in NL


The federal and provincial governments have announced $9.8 million for mineral exploration projects in this province.


The funds will be used for developing further exploration of critical minerals including copper, aluminum, helium, and indium.


These minerals are used for renewable energy and clean technology inventiveness.


Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency will provide $5.2 million over the span of three years and Newfoundland and Labrador will be investing $4.6 million through the Junior Exploration Assistance Program.
