46 New Cases of COVID-19


Today there are 46 new cases of COVID-19. 11 are in the Eastern Health region, 4 are in Central Health, and 31 are in Western Health.

There are 76 active cases, four people have recovered. No one is in hospital.


Anyone 18 years or older can now get a booster 22 weeks after their second shot.


Even those who are fully vaccinated will need to isolate for seven days if they are a close contact with a case.


99.4 percent of core government service employees are fully vaccinated. 98 percent of school employees are vaccinated and 97 percent of health care workers.


Amateur sports and tournaments are not permitted as of tonight that involve travel.


Some businesses such as bars and lounges, gyms, and funerals are reduced to 50 percent capacity.


Restaurants will be cut to 75 percent capacity.
