24 new COVID-19 cases and more exposure sites

Today there are 24 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. All of the new cases are in the Central Health region.

There have been six new recoveries. There are two people in the hospital because of COVID-19.

There are 10 new presumptive positive cases in the province.

There are currently 134 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.

So far, 300,178 tests have been administered.

There are 75 confirmed cases of COVID-19 connected to the Baie Verte cluster to date.

Public Health is asking anyone who visited the locations on the dates and times listed below to arrange COVID-19 testing. To arrange testing, complete the online self-assessment and referral tool available here or call 811.

• Eclipse in the Lewisporte Shopping Centre, 465 Main Street, Lewisporte on Friday, September 17 from 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

• Buck or Two Plus, 443 Main Street, Lewisporte on Friday, September 17 from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

• Donovan’s Irving Big Stop, 65 Clyde Avenue, Mount Pearl on Friday, September 17 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

• Montana’s BBQ & Bar, 80 Kenmount Road, St. John’s on Friday, September 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Old Town Pizza, 336 Freshwater Road, St. John’s on Saturday, September 18 from 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

• Denny’s, 227 Kenmount Road, St. John’s on Sunday, September 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
