Visitor Restrictions Expanded Through Two Western Health Facilities

Submitted Photo

Temporary visitor restrictions have been expanded through two Western Health Facilities.

There are temporary visitor restrictions throughout the Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances. Immediate family members of patients are asked to call the unit directly to inquire about visitation.

As of Monday, visitor restrictions are also in place at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on the Medicine Unit. Immediate family members of residents should call 643-5111 Ext. 7232 for further direction about visitation.

The facilities are dealing with an outbreak of a gastrointestinal illness.
