35 Feral Cats Rescued From Little Bay Islands

A rescue group has rescued 35 feral cats from Little Bay Islands.

The group was from Nova Scotia and will take the cats and kittens back to Nova Scotia with them.

Another rescue team from Deer Lake is still here trying to catch a few more.

In 2019, residents voted in favour of resettlement after failed attempts to do so in 2011 and 2016.

The ferry service is scheduled to end on December 31, 2019.
