CN Rail on Strike

Thousands of employees of CN Rail have gone on strike.

A notice to strike was provided by the union on Saturday.

Conductors are on strike across the country, citing health and safety concerns.

Train heads, train agents and sorting agents are also on strike.

CN and the union were unable to reach a negotiated settlement. As a result over 3,000 employees have walked off the job.
