Number of Votes at Advance Polls Up #elxn43

According to Elections Canada, over two million Canadians cast ballots in the advance polls as of Saturday.

That number is a 25 per cent increase from the 2015 federal election.

Advance polls were open until 9:00 pm on Monday.

The number of ballots cast at universities are also up.

The election takes place on Monday, October 21.
