Boris Johnson to be UK Prime Minister

Boris Johnson will be the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Current Prime Minister Theresa May will visit Queen Elizabeth II today and officially leave office.

Her Majesty will then appoint Boris Johnson as Prime Minister.

He will take over the job on Wednesday.

It will be the responsibility of Johnson to lead the country out of the European Union.

Members of opposing parties have vowed to bring down any government that tries to leave the EU without an exit deal.

Johnson once said, "My chances of being PM are about as good as the chances of finding Elvis on Mars, or my being reincarnated as an olive."
