New Airline Passengers Bill of Rights in Effect
The Federal Government's new airline passengers bill of rights went into effect on Monday.
The new rules are designed to ensure that airlines update passengers on what they are entitled to when there are disruptions with their travel.
The rules that are now in effect protect customers if there are delays on the tarmac, when a passenger is denied boarding, also for lost and damaged luggage and the transportation of musical instruments.
More rules come into effect on December 15th.
