Bear Seen Near Aquaforte

Aquaforte, located 7 km northeast of Ferryland, had an unusual visitor today, a black bear.

Although black bears are usually timid and attacks are extremely rare, they are wild animals and can be dangerous.

Black bears prefer heavily wooded areas and dense bush.

Locals say that they don't recall ever seeing a bear in the area.
