18-Year-Old Crashes Vehicle, Driving Nearly Twice Legal Limit #nltraffic

RCMP says that an 18-year-old man from Bishops Cove had his driver's license suspended and vehicle seized after a single-vehicle collision on Route 70 in Spaniard’s Bay on Wednesday.

He was arrested at the scene for impaired driving. Breath testing at Bay Roberts Detachment confirmed his blood-alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit.

The male was released from custody to appear in court at a later date.
