110 new COVID-19 cases as weather impacts testing

There are 110 new cases of COVID-19 being reported but the Department of Health and Community Services advises that numbers today are impacted by weather, as both attendance at testing sites and delivery of specimens for testing were adversely affected.

Regional Breakdown:

• Eastern Health 88

• Central Health 5

• Western Health 14

• Labrador-Grenfell Health 3

There are 21 people in hospital and 579 tests completed since yesterday.

The province has 1,557 active cases.
