1 in 5 Canadians still does not have a family doctor

A new report from the Angus Reid Institute indicates that one in five Canadians still does not have a family doctor.

Canadians also do not feel good about the state of health care with 66 percent of Canadians saying the structural problems within health care go beyond a lack of funding.

In the same survey, 60 percent of Canadians believe the $46.2 billion funding injection from the government will at least improve the situation.

One thing we pride ourselves on is universal health care, however, 31 percent of Canadians believe more privately delivered health care would improve the system.
